WHY FIGS?
In its 29 years of operation, FIGS has raised over $2,120,000 and assisted more than
33,000 of our neighbors in need in Wake County. We would appreciate your support, and we want you to know that:
Of every dollar FIGS receives, 100 cents goes directly to pay for essential medicines and medical supplies.- FIGS has developed a dedicated group of people who contribute year after year.
- FIGS donors include foundations, churches, local government and individuals like you.
- All people receiving FIGS assistance are low income, and seriously ill, with little or no insurance.
- Many people receiving help from FIGS have chronic illnesses ( including diabetes, heart disease, cancer, and mental illness), and their medicines help them stay out of the hospital.
- All gifts are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
- FIGS can accept stock and mutual funds donations.
- To ensure funds for future needs, FIGS has an endowment with Wake County Community Foundation, which is an
affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation.
